A lot of eye balls for a pretty penny

Fifa estimated that they will likely earn R25 Billion (approx US $3 billion) on the television media rights to broadcast the World Cup; this is more than what was earned on the media rights for the 2002 and 2006 World Cup’s combined!

And they are anticipating similar viewership to those that watched the 2006 event in Germany, which was just over 26 billion worldwide.

That’s a lot of eyeballs.  And a lot of time watching ads.  Hmmmm…what’s a brand to do?
